Thing #10
My slide show is about leaders. This is a topic we talk about a lot in First Grade so I thought it would be useful. I selected animoto with music for my video presentation. It contains 11 photographs and cool music. I really enjoyed the Brown Bear Video. My own kids got a kick out of that, they wanted to watch it over and over.

This is interesting because, at first glance, I thought "leaders" was going to mean political. But then, you changed it up and put in other leader figures as well. What a great way to introduce a topic to your young students and see how many of them know who is in each slide! I may borrow your idea sometime! :)
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite parts of videos and slideshows is how music can drastically affect the message, feel, or tone of the video. I liked how you put upbeat an "happy" music with this. I wonder how the same exact slideshow could be interpreted differently with dramatic "dark" music?
